People come to me with a range of different symptoms…

Neurology
What is neurology?
Neurology is a speciality concerned with diseases and illnesses of the nervous system – the brain, spinal cord, peripheral nerves and muscles. This can, of course, sound pretty scary to many people. Neurologists diagnose and treat conditions such as a migraine, epilepsy, stroke, tremor, Parkinson’s, multiple sclerosis, motor neurone disease and dementia.

How I can help
People come to me with a range of different symptoms such as a headache, dizziness, weakness, balance problems and numbness or tingling which can be very worrying and frightening, and perhaps your GP isn’t sure what’s wrong.
The vast majority of people I see turn out to have no serious cause for their symptoms, for example migraine. I can help by diagnosing your condition, reassuring you and by finding the right treatment to help you get better as soon as possible.
